The Gibson County Fair will begin Monday, August 29 with the official opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. The carnival will be open the same day. The Fair closes at midnight Saturday, September 3.
All concession personnel, together with their assistants, must obey the rules and regulations made by Fair Management. Any refusal or neglect to do so will forfeit their rights by virtue of such concessions.
The Fair Management reserves the right to make decision as to "appropriate" merchandise of vendors. If not acceptable, no refund of fees or money paid shall be refunded.
If only one entry is made in any class, there will be one placing and one premium paid, with the placing not necessarily first place, but the placing that judges determine according to quality of entry.
Right is reserved to carry over or reschedule programs from day to day, or to cancel any or all activities due to excessive rain, fire, tornado, or any other calamity beyond our control.
No person or firm will be permitted to display signs within the fairgrounds without permission.
Any item, previously exhibited in the Gibson County Fair, may not be entered again. For additional information, refer to the divison in which entry will be exhibited. Failure to comply with these rules will result in withholding of premium money.
